It is so hard for me to get out and purchase gifts...money is tight so crocheted gifts are the best gifts and a good way to advertise!!! I heard my niece getting prepped for her little brother's birthday and six of my grandchildren were going as well. I planned to make him a hat and scarf set but was going to send a card with money, since I was so tired and had little time to make his set. But, NO! I heard my niece saying "yeah she is going to make him a hat and scarf set" OMG! I was so tired, thank God for his help! I got up and began to dig through my stash for the right colors for his hat and scarf. He loved it! Jay profiling in his b'day hat and scarf set from auntie! I got some more orders too!!! In the midst of all the action in my life I am so excited to try new things; Like Fixing this blog up! There are so many gadgets! LOL! I love to learn new things! Music, templates, slideshows, and etc. I thought I was on MySpace. LoL! Anyway Blogger has more to offer, although it is a bit complicated at times. Moreover, after a request for 4 big orders I decided to officially turn my passion for crocheting into a little business. That is another reason for my excitement. SOOOOOOO! I posted the link to my blog on FaceBook (trying to get used to that place) for my friends and family to take a looksy. I had my cute neice model her hat and scarf set ; actually I had to beg her as she was leaving to let me take pictures that is why they are so blurry. Well lets see what happens. I am praying. Jay loves modeling grandma's creations. Hat, Scarf, and Mittens. This was his Christmas gift. I like to give gifts that are centered around Jesus; but this was an addition to his gift. I goofed on the mittens. They are too big, but he still loves them. Moreover, who can resist this cute face. (((HUGS)))

Greetings! It has a been a while and some struggles in untangling and rearranging the priority list of my loads of projects! I am not in despair but gaining some momentum! Finally I am making a dent in the loads of WIP! My grandson and His sister left with their keepsake blankies last night. I have just a tad bit more room in my WIP bag and such a feeling of relief and exhilaration to see the looks on their faces as they held their blankies!!! INSPIRATION!!! Look At Grandma's Cuties! I have taken a month off from crocheting praying for inspiration. Whelp! The Lord certainly answered my prayers about getting some inspiration to crochet. My grandson and granddaughter were leaving. It was very cold out so I gave him a fleece blanket; hugged them and kissed them, and said grandma loves you. As I made my way back to my room, he was behind me with the fleece blanket. In his little voice he said"mama here take it" I was puzzled of course and had to make sure I understood him. So I asked "you want grandma to take the blanket?", "Yes" he said. I took it and then he said "give me my blanket". OHHH! He had his eyes on that blanket the whole weekend and kept asking me "my blanket?" I said, "yes your blanket". He had his little heart set on taking home his blankie. I showed him the unweaved parts of the blankets and tried to explain as best I can to him I have to fix it then he can have it.
